Guidelines for Abstract and Full Text

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT AND FULL TEXT


Dear researchers!
While writing the abstract, full text of the paper and the full text of the paper citation/submission rules, the following matters should be noted.

I. Abstract Writing Rules
1. In the abstract, the “purpose”, “importance”, “method” and “obtained results” of the study should be clearly stated as “findings/results”.
2. The abstract should be written in Microsoft Word.
3. The abstract should be between 150-200 words.
4. The abstract should be in Turkish and English.
5. The abstract should be written on A4 paper, leaving 2.5 cm margins on the left, top, right and bottom, 12 font, Times New Roman font and single line spacing.
6. The paper's title should be centered and written in CAPITAL letters, and it should be written in bold. The title(s), name-surname(s) of the author(s) should be aligned right, under the title, followed by the affiliated institution and e-mail address.


II. Fullt Text Paper Writing Rules
1. The text of the paper should be a maximum of 5000 words.
2. The text of the paper should consist of Abstract (Turkish, English), Introduction, Main Text, Conclusion, Bibliography and, if any, Appendices and Acknowledgments.
3. In terms of spelling and punctuation, except for the obligatory cases required by the text, the current Spelling Guide of the Turkish Language Association should be taken as a basis.
4. The text of the paper should be written in Microsoft Word and should be arranged by the rates below.

5. The paper's title should be centered and written in CAPITAL letters, and it should be written in bold. The first of the other headings in the text is bold, and only the first of each word the letter must be uppercase. The second is bold, and the first letter of all words should be lowercase, except for the first word.

6. The authors' names should be written right, just below the title, without their title. In the 1st footnote at the bottom of the page, the author's title, the institution where he works and his e-mail address must exist.
7. The Spelling Guide of the Turkish Language Association is the basis for writing words and terms.
8. Text plagiarism rate is 20%. If this rate is exceeded, the text will not be considered for publication.
9. The latest version of the full texts must be submitted electronically as a Word File until 28 May 2021.

III. Full Text Citation/Submission Rules
1. One of the citation systems of APA 6th Edition/Style, Chicago or ISNAD, should be used as the citation system in the abstract and the full text.
2. Quotations of more than 40 words should be written in 10 font sizes, with a tab inside and 1 line spacing. Quotations of less than 40 words should only be given in quotation marks within the paragraph.

3. Quotations should be in quotation marks, not italicized. Only in text accents should be italicized.
4. References in the text should be given in parentheses (author/authors' surname, the publication year of the source: relevant page number), and the bibliography list containing the references used in full and with the full citation should be shown at the end of the text following the reference system.
5. Every reference in the text must be included in the bibliography. Works that are not referenced in the text should not be included in the bibliography.
6. Explanations other than references should be stated in the form of footnotes at the bottom of the relevant page.
7. It is obligatory to include a bibliography at the end of the full text. The references used should be sorted and arranged according to the citation systems used in the text writing (APA-6 style, Chicago or ISNAD).
